Our program is called “Life-Sized.” Our vision for our senior project is to help encourage young girls to be happy in their own bodies. The way we want to achieve this is by building a life-size Barbie doll. Every young girl wants to look like a Barbie at some point in her life, but Barbie’s proportions are unrealistic. However, Barbie’s body shape is the image young girls everywhere imagine as perfect. By creating a program to reveal Barbie in life-sized form we will change the negative self image of girls in the program.
