eVenture
Thank you for your interest in attending the eVenture annual summer program at Charter Farms.
This unique entrepreneurial learning experience is for those who want to become innovative leaders.
Why
Most of education teaches one “the right way” to do something. That has value. However, today, when people all over the world are mastering those same answers and approaches, the leaders are the ones who can “find a better way.” eVenture prepares you to be that kind of innovative entrepreneurial leader.
What
You will learn to innovate like an entrepreneur by doing it. You will form a team, identify an idea that you believe in, and mold a novel business or social venture in four days — then present to an investment panel on Friday. The atmosphere will be charged with creative energy, fed by peers sharing innovation experiences, a variety of successful entrepreneurs/mentors contributing their guidance and assistance, and a casual, stimulating setting where open thinking and experimentation thrive (see photos and videos).
If you choose, you can stay involved beyond the week to implement your venture, with a possibility of attracting funding support.
Roles
You provide the creativity, vision, trust, respect, and persistence.
We provide a highly engaging and supportive learning environment and access to what you need to make your ideas real.
Expect an intense bu fun and rewarding experience.
Who
You are a good candidate if
- You have an idea you want to explore but have not had the opportunity;
- You do well in school but want to challenge yourself to be an innovative leader;
- You are less engaged in school because you prefer hands-on learning;
- You want to know how entrepreneurs develop novel, winning businesses.
How to Apply
Attendance is sponsored by various business leaders and organizations, which cover the $500 tuition. Apply through the sponsor that connected you, or fill out and mail or the application below.
